♦ What is the difference between hot dip galvanized pipe and pre-galvanized pipe
Both pre-galvanized pipes and galvanized pipes can be welded, but pre-galvanized pipe are processed with galvanized steel strip for one-time forming, and the anti-corrosion time is not as long as that of hot-dip galvanizing, while hot-dip galvanized pipe is processed from black pipes,then go to galvanizing. After a high temperature of 1000 degrees, generally thin wall thicknesses are not hot-dip galvanized.
There is also the difference in quality and classification. Galvanized pipes can be processed into hot and cold galvanized pipes, while pre-galvanized pipe cannot be made into hot-dip galvanized pipes, because their wall thickness is relatively thin, so compared with hot-dip galvanized pipes The price of zinc pipe is higher than that of pre-galvanized pipe, the galvanized layer is thicker, and the storage time is longer.
