Recently, a batch of high-end wind power steel plates produced by Wugang Company of Hesteel Group was successfully shipped to customers. They will be used for the manufacture of wind power towers for the 1 million kilowatt wind power project in Toksun County, Guangdong Energy, a key energy project in Xinjiang, which is a core area of the “Belt and Road” initiative. So far, Wugang has supplied nearly 30,000 tons to the project.
The high-end wind power steel produced by Wugang has many advantages such as high strength, high corrosion resistance, good weldability, and high safety, which can meet the strict requirements of large wind turbines for material performance.

Xinjiang is the core area and hub area of the joint construction of the “Belt and Road”. The 1 million kilowatt wind power project of Guangdong Energy in Toksun County is located in Toksun County, Turpan City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The wind turbine tower installed in this project is the first non-segmented wind turbine tower in Xinjiang with a diameter of more than 6 meters and a single unit capacity of 10,000 kilowatts.
